Sensory has announced that its combined facial and voice recognition authentication solution TrulySecure has been integrated in two dozen banking apps from major banks around the world.
Through partnerships with banking and enterprise sector technology integrators like EZMCOM, Fujitsu, Samsung SDS, and VeriTran, the FIDO-compliant on-device authentication technology has been applied to apps from Alior, AXIS, Banorte, ICICI, Maybank, Mizuho Bank, Qatar Islamic Bank and other institutions.
“Since announcing the first version of TrulySecure, we have had a great deal of interest from banks wanting to utilize our technology for adding greater user security to their apps without compromising convenience,” says Todd Mozer, CEO of Sensory. “While we are certainly excited to have more than two dozen banking customers, we believe that we are just now beginning to see the tipping point for mass adoption among banks globally. We look forward to continuing our leadership role in the biometric revolution taking place in the banking market by constantly improving TrulySecure and working even more closely with our partners to deploy it.”
TrulySecure’s face and voice authenticators are also available as components of multi-factor authentication systems from decentralized authentication solution providers like HYPR and Nok Nok through partnerships.
No special sensors are required to deploy TrulySecure, and it supports 2D, 3D, or IR cameras, with SDKs available for Android and iOS, allowing developers to offer the same user experience across nearly all mobile devices, according to the announcement. TrulySecure has minimal UI requirements, tolerance to environments with noise or poor lighting, and provides anti-spoofing techniques such as motion and skin texture analysis. It also supports Android KeyStore and iOS Keychain encryption to protect biometric data at rest.
Sensory recently upgraded TrulySecure for easier enrollment, wake word support, and improved accuracy.
